Sustainable Swap Social: Declutter, Save Money, and Help the Planet! Bring your gently used clothes and books to trade or donate. It's a great way to declutter your home, find new treasures, reduce your environmental impact . 

Here's how it works 

1. Bring your clean, ironed clothes and books in good condition to the event. 
2. We'll catalog and display your items, and you can choose to sell or donate them. 
3. If you choose to sell your items and they are sold at the event, you'll get credit in 15 days. If they don't sell, you can collect them after the event. 
4. The proceeds of donated items will be donated to NGOs, and unsold remaining after the event will be distributed to people in need. 

What can I bring? 

You can bring gently used, clean, and ironed clothes and books in good condition. 

Here are some specific examples: 

Clothes: Women's, men's, and kids' apparel, including festive wear, dress for small events/functions, party wear both Western and Ethnic, Sarees, Kurthas, Tops, Gowns, Ties, Blazers, Formal shirts, Trousers 

Books: Story books, comics, Kids books, Self help books, Novels for all ages 

We can use some volunteer help  

If you're inspired by the concept, join us as we organize the event! You'll get Sumrux credit points and first pick for items that come in.  

To cover our incidentals, we will be charging a very small service fee of 5% for all sale items. We will bear the expenses for donation items  

This event is organized by the Purva Fairmont RWA team, in collaboration with Sumrux, HCF(NGO), and Sharegreen (NGO).
